chitect Kahle Wilson of Design Architects Plus, is funded by a $92 million 2008 bond issue passed by voters of the city of Yukon.

The 350,000-square-foot, two-story school; a 24,000-square-foot wellness center; and a football stadium with press box are scheduled for occupancy next summer.

"For a high school, this is a big project," Wilson says. "The football stadium capacity is just over 6,500 seats, and they will have a state-of-the-art gymnasium at the main high school that seats just over 3,000."

Several athletic venues, including baseball and soccer fields, also will be housed on the 110-acre campus.

"A third of the new mission center will be dedicated to food that we give away, storage/display and walk-in freezer and refrigeration. We needed that yesterday," Barnes says. "This is a big deal, and we're doing it all on faith. We've kicked off a $3.2 million campaign to build this, along with in-kind donations. We've already got one in-kind donation worth about a quarter million. This is not going to be a turnkey job. We're going to have our own contractor and using oodles of volunteers. We're praying that we get this $3.2 million raised by Christmas."

The project will have a "green" element, including wells for geothermal energy use.

"I don't know if we can swing this or not, but we are going to try to go as
