Federal and state tax training for small businesses will take place Dec. 6 at the Rose State College Professional Training Center, 1720 Hudiburg Drive in Midwest City. The Oklahoma Tax Small Business Workshop, from 9 a.m. to noon, covers:
new business registration, business tax report form completion, sales and withholding record-keeping requirements,and sales tax deductions and exemptions, and vendor responsibilities. The Small Business Federal Tax Workshop will run from 1 to 4 p.m. Conducted by representatives of Cole and Reed P.C., the workshop covers basic IRS tax requirements in the three-hour session, including: 
record keeping/bookkeeping systems, business income tax, business deductions, and federal tax forms and filing dates. No fees are required for either workshop. To register, call 733-7348.
