Six winners were announced recently for the “OklahoManMade” architectural photography competition.

“The mission of the Oklahoma City Foundation for Architecture is to promote excellence in our physical environment by educating our community to recognize it, design professionals to provide it, and by doing projects that demonstrate it,” says Melissa Hunt, executive director of the American Institute of Architects Central Oklahoma Chapter, of which the foundation is a nonprofit partner.
Rules of the competition were simple: Architects, students and the public could submit photographs that highlight the beauty and diversity of Oklahoma’s built environment. Out of 38 entries — down from the inaugural year’s 59 — artist Don Narcomey, Frankfurt-Short-Bruza architect Lisa Tippin and photographer Joseph Mills judged the winners.
