On Friday, June 8, Chesapeake will bring its CNG-powered motor coach, known as Big Blue, to Guthrie to be the first vehicle to fill up with CNG at the station.
Love’s opened its first CNG station in Kingfisher in 2011. In total, there are more than 70 existing or planned CNG stations around the state open to the public.
Officials
with Love’s credit the state’s alternative fuel legislation in 2009 as a tool
that spurred an increase in public CNG stations around the state.
