UCO receives $400,000 grant from Inasmuch Foundation



The UTPA is a partnership between UCO and Oklahoma City Public Schools which trains teachers for high-need urban schools.

The Inasmuch Foundation announced a $400,000 grant to support the Urban Teacher Preparation Academy at the University of Central Oklahoma. The UTPA is a partnership between UCO and Oklahoma City Public Schools which trains teachers for high-need urban schools through an innovative clinical and mentorship program.

"We are grateful to our partners at the Inasmuch Foundation for seeing our vision of establishing an innovative initiative in the UTPA," said Bill Pink, associate dean of UCO's College of Education and Professional Studies.
